The plate now has underside bayonet rails. A clip foot pushes up from below, slides backwards to lock, then the working clip drops/offsets forward so the cable is accessible at the desk edge.
Unit pitch: 28 mm per clip unit, 1–10 unit plates exported.
Connection: underside slide-lock rails with a small detent/stop bump.
Clip position: deliberately offset down/forward from the plate, not sitting flat on it.
Note: clip shape is only a connector/direction test, not final cable retention yet.
